Simple Card Holder (Museum Calf)
An exercise in restraint, the Simple Card Holder reduces the everyday wallet to its essential elements.
Made from Italian museum calf, the leather has a smooth surface and distinctive mottled finish, shifting naturally between grey, taupe, brown, and charcoal. The irregular movement of color gives depth to the otherwise minimal form, with no two pieces presenting exactly the same way.
Two card slots on each side provide space for everyday essentials, while a central compartment accommodates folded cash, receipts, or additional cards. Its symmetrical construction keeps the profile compact and allows the piece to be used naturally from either side.
Each card holder is hand-stitched and individually finished in San Francisco. Minimal in appearance, the simplicity of the design places the focus on material, proportion, and construction.
Natural Variations
The mottled finish varies naturally throughout the hide, creating shifts in tone, depth, and surface character from piece to piece. The placement and intensity of these variations will differ with every card holder, making each one distinctly its own.

ABOUT MUSEUM CALF
This full-grain Italian calfskin is characterized by a hand-dyed, marbled finish that creates irregular shifts between lighter and darker tones across the surface. Rather than a uniform color, the dye moves through the leather with natural depth and variation, giving each section of the hide its own character.
Smooth to the touch with a balance of suppleness and structure, the leather has a refined surface while remaining durable enough for everyday use. Over time, handling and wear will continue to soften the leather and add to the character of its finish.
The marbling varies throughout each hide, so no two pieces will carry exactly the same pattern or distribution of color. These variations are an inherent part of the leather and what makes every piece singular.
NATURAL VARIATION
Natural variation is an inherent part of the materials we work with. Grain, texture, color, markings, and surface character will vary from piece to piece, making each object subtly unique.
These variations are not considered imperfections or defects, but part of the individual character of the material.
